Granollers is the centre of this list and the kilometres run from the station. Most of what you buy here you buy at the gate, in the morning, and in cash. Two markets count: Granollers on Thursday and Saturday, Cardedeu on Sunday, and the producers who sell at either say so in their line. The C-251 to Cànoves and the climb up to the Montseny cover most of the entries; anything past 30 km means the Montseny side and a slow road. Ring the day before if you want a box kept, above all for tomatoes and bread. For eggs and honey you can turn up unannounced. Cheese, at the moment, means the Montseny and one long climb.

Eggs from the yard on Tuesday and Saturday mornings, and chickens if you ask a week ahead. Nine kilometres from Granollers on the road to Cànoves. The sign at the roadside is for the old owners and points at the first gate; the farm is the second one, past the cypresses. Ask for Pere. Cash, and take the empty boxes back next time.
Molí d’en Coll, Sant Celoni

Flour every day the mill is open, bread on Fridays until it runs out, which is before eleven. Twenty-four kilometres from Granollers, and the last two are single track with passing places. They mill wheat and rye grown in the Vallès and the foothills, and they will tell you which farm each sack came from if you ask.

Honey in jars from the second week of September until it runs out, which last year was around Christmas. Eighteen kilometres from Granollers, uphill from Cànoves, the track on the left after the bridge. Rosemary in spring, chestnut and heather from the Montseny in autumn. Ring first: they are in the hives most mornings.
We have not been back to Formatges Puigsec since 11 June 2025. The line stays where it is, with the old date on it, until one of us drives up.
